So I found out yesterday that I passed the NCLEX! The national test everyone must take to attain their RN license. Passing school isn't enough. So now I can finally be called an RN. It's nice to have the 'RN, EMT-IV' behind your name. What other acronyms should I get? We will see what the future holds but I plan on having most of the alphabet attached to the end of my name (or front of it for Army purposes like rank and title) I e-mailed my recruiter and my direct commander letting them know that I passed, orders for a leave date should be here soon now! The two possibilities as of now are leaving in July or in October. San Antonio is going to be HOT in July, but I don't want to wait till October either. Oh well, welcome to government work huh?
YAY!!!! Congrats mate! Personally, I hope you don't leave til October... but that's just me being selfish with my friend. :P I know you've got to be excited. I'm excited for you buddy. I'm praying that you go to the best place at the best time. Love ya 2nd Lt. Grant Young RN, EMT-IV! Dang kid. Your name has suddenly become very complicated. I'm jealous. Army jealous. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I am very proud of you! I knew that you would pass! You are very smart! I dont want you to leave til october!! I will miss you a lot!!! :( I know that you will do great things while you are there and in your future!
ReplyDeleteSo obviously there is a trend that everyone wants you to stay until October..So I to believe that this is how it should be. I miss you :( I will see you sometime before you leave though for sure! Love ya! (Posted on the right one this time dork)
